Chilli Jam Vinegar Sauce for Dumplings
If you have been to one of our Dumpling Workshops @ Cooking Club Brisbane, you would have tasted our delicious Chilli Jam Vinegar Sauce. Here is the recipe to make it, and it is not just exclusively for dumplings - try it over grilled fish or chicken, or even silken tofu.
2 spring onions, chopped
2 cloves garlic, chopped finely
1 tsp grated ginger
1 tbsp Saucy Wench Chilli Jam
1 tbsp soy sauce
2 tsp sugar
½ tbsp black rice vinegar
Fry the Saucy Wench Chilli Jam, spring onions, ginger and garlic in some oil for about 1 minute. Add other sauce ingredients and simmer for about 2 minutes until thickened.
Serve poured over dumplings or as a dipping sauce (but it is great drizzled on things)
